How it works
The whole process, from the form to the finished room, including what a first session looks like hour by hour, the three ways to handle containers, and where your things go.
The six steps
- You send the form. It takes two minutes, and photos are optional.
- A free 20-minute call. Janice asks what's bothering you most and what has been tried, and gives a rough idea of sessions and cost.
- Details, and sometimes a walkthrough. For whole-home and moving projects Janice usually visits first. The in-home walkthrough is $75, credited in full against your first session.
- A one-page plan with a price. It lists the work, the order, the number of sessions, and the cost. A $100 deposit holds your dates and is applied to your final session.
- The work. Sessions are half days or full days. A first session is described below.
- Finish and check-in. The last pass, labels, the donation run, and a few minutes on how to keep it up. About two weeks later Janice checks in by text.

Out
Sorted
Done
- Janice arrives with sorting bins, labels, and bags. You walk the space together and agree on what finished means today.
- Everything comes out.
- Sorting: keep, donate, discard, belongs elsewhere. You make the decisions and Janice keeps the pace. If you'd rather not be present, rules are agreed first.
- A short break while Janice plans the layout.
- Zones by how you use the space, then containers, then labels.
- Last pass. Donation bags go into Janice's car. A few minutes on the two habits that keep the system working.
- Done.
Bins, baskets, and labels: three options
Option one: use what you own. Most homes already have more containers than they need.
Option two: Janice sends a shopping list with links and you buy what you like.
Option three: Janice buys, delivers, and returns what isn't used. You approve a written estimate and prepay it before she shops. Products are billed at store cost plus 20 percent, with every receipt.
Nothing is bought without your approval, and Janice takes no commissions from any store or brand.
Where your things go
Keep: back in place, with a home.
Donate: one car load per session goes to MCC Thrift Store in Rancho Cucamonga, a nonprofit, and the receipt is emailed to you.
Sell: Janice will say what's worth the effort and where. She doesn't sell items for you.
Trash and recycling: into your bins.
Large items and e-waste: not hauled. Janice explains what your city collects and helps you book it.
After
Most systems drift a little in the first month, and the two-week check-in catches it. If a space needs a reset later, a maintenance session is a single half day.
